A Journey of Our Own
By Muhimtulay Ammara Mohammed Amin Let's go on a journey-a journey of our own, into a world of fantasy, where limits are overthrown. We'll wander and wonder, seeing how far our imagination can stretch beyond every star. Listen to my voice-louder than the sound of silence. Let's make a choice, though some I've made were heavy with regret, denser than oceans brimming with salt. Countless stars shine above me-which one should I adore? Let me be, just for a moment, lost in their

By Muhimtulay Ammara Mohammed Amin I have memories Lots of them Some I wish to remember Some I wish to forget Some I wish to last forever Some I wish I had never met What can I do? Why? How am I to know What may happen in future What can I do? Why? How am I to know What may happen in future What will become of my past, so Will you do me a favor That is to remind me what is to be done and known Do you know? Cuz I so don't know you see What is to know And what to be done? That'

The Beauty of Night
By Muhimtulay Ammara Mohammed Amin When twilight laid it’s hush across eyes a veil of shadows wrapped the weary skies The moon enthroned ,wore diamonds for his crown A sovereign robed in bridal white ,come down And in dusky hours, the world was stilled , By twilight’s hand, with dream and silence filled The sable clouds and obsidian dome Played the nocturne’s gloam Cloaking the sky with starlet shroud Playing symphonies for celestial cloud The nig

The Maid Had a Tale
By Manmohan Kaur The maid who was late, had made her own tale. Tale of woes and pain in her toes Time was fixed for her to come, every morning before ten. We showed her our little Ben, little did we know she clogged little Ben, made it slow by minutes ten. Once a week was her day off, but whenever the need was more, she would just ignore She never called a day before, only after ten she did inform Another sink full of dishes to be done, Why didn’t the maid come, looking for

Widow’s Dream
By Manmohan Kaur I met her at the Ganges, Where she waits and prays for her death, She is dressed up in white, her life as a widow, white yet not bright We named it Game of Destiny, battered her soul, burnt her desires for no fault of her own She lives, after being disowned by her own people, her own family the same family that welcomed her when she was a new bride When the man of her life died, she lost her pride Walking barefoot, there is no sound of her anklets Ruthlessly

Remains of a Love
By Kalpana Kumari I breathe in the smoke, fueling the fire. Just like the ache in my heart, calling out your name louder. Smoke and tears escape, just like your memory. With me for a moment, then fading into silence. Why could it not be? My heart asks like the dying pyre. Leaving gray ash of shattered hopes, and the remains of a love that burned ever wilder. You’re Never Lonely, Sweetheart
By Prutha Santosh Wadke People often say they’re lonely; They long for company. But once I understood the truth, I never looked back. Remember this… No one can care for you The way nature does. By day, the sun walks beside you. By night, the moon and stars keep watch. The waters flow to comfort you, The rains come to kiss your skin. The fire burns within and around you. The earth cradles you in her soil. And above it all, the endless sky embraces you. You only need to call

Forever Yours, Yet Never Mine!!
By Prutha Santosh Wadke Many have adored the moon, yet only the stars remain etched in his celestial embrace. Their love story, a whispered legend among the Constellations, is known to all. But for a moment, let us consider the night, her existence entwined with his ethereal glow. Think of the sun, a radiant deity, illuminating the moon with selfless grace. He awakens the moon’s pale beauty, never demanding a return, his love a constant embrace. What about the ocean? It holds
