Forever Yours, Yet Never Mine!!

By Prutha Santosh Wadke

Many have adored the moon, yet only the stars remain etched in his celestial embrace.

Their love story, a whispered legend among the Constellations, is known to all.

But for a moment, let us consider the night, her existence entwined with his ethereal glow.

Think of the sun, a radiant deity, illuminating the moon with selfless grace.

He awakens the moon’s pale beauty, never demanding a return, his love a constant embrace.

What about the ocean? It holds up a mirror for moon.

But along with it, the ocean also showcases the love Story of the moon in its mirror.

And the sky? Yes, the sky accepts that the moon loves Somebody other than it,

Still for the sake of the moon’s happiness, acts as a Screen for the moon’s love for others.

Everyone loved the moon even after knowing that he won’t be completely theirs.

I ask myself now, who am I?

The star, the Sun, the ocean, or the sky?.......

What if I am the moon ?....

Bit scary.

Yes, it takes courage to fall in love with the moon.

Let me tell you a secret, that the moon loves Earth.....

He is eternally drawn to her.

And the Earth discovered a missing piece of herself, a longing she never knew existed.
