You’re Never Lonely, Sweetheart

People often say they’re lonely;

They long for company.

But once I understood the truth,

I never looked back. 

Remember this…

No one can care for you

The way nature does. 

By day, the sun walks beside you.

By night, the moon and stars keep watch.

The waters flow to comfort you,

The rains come to kiss your skin.

The fire burns within and around you.

The earth cradles you in her soil.

And above it all, the endless sky embraces you. 

You only need to call them.

They are so gentle, so compassionate —

They will stay with you forever. 

They speak to you in whispers,

They laugh with you in silence,

They dance with you in winds and waves. 

They teach you.

They keep you alive —

And ask nothing in return. 

Isn’t this the purest, truest love? 

Call them once,

And they will be yours… always.
