मेरे मन की चादर है मैली
मेरे मन की चादर है मैली
फैली है कुछ ज़ख्मों की लाली
बहुत कोशिश की इन आसुओं ने
मगर मिट ना पाए कुछ दाग ।
कहते है रहती है यादें किसी कोने में
बहुत साल बिताए हमने रोने में
पर इन आसुओ ने सींचा एक सुंदर बाग
जहाँ हर वो ज़ख़्म बना काँटेदार गुलाब ।
जिन्हें देख यह आँखे नम हो जाती
और रूह सुकून को पाती
पर छूते ही चुभ जाती वह डाली
और काँप जाता वोह माली ।
इन लकीरों से कुछ यू मेरी लड़ाई है
नहीं देनी ज़िंदगी तुझे कुछ सफ़ाई है
आखरी सूर्यास्त पर माँगूँगी गवाही तुझसे
इस वीरान बाग सी ज़िन्दगी ने दी दुहाई है ।
