एक निकम्मा चाँद आवारा ४

खेल,खिलौने,बारिश मद्धम,

और उफनती साँसें सरगम।

एक कहानी चलती,फिरती,

पैरों की पाजेब में छम-छम।

सुनते थे ख्वाबों के रहबर,

ख्वाहिशों के सीने,सिर रखकर।

इश्क मलंग,जोगन थी फितरत,

फिर कब हो ये रात मयस्सर?

एक निकम्मा चाँद आवारा,

और अकेली तू थी छत पर।

चेहरे पर दिलफेंक हवाएँ,

तेरी लटों से चाल चुराएँ।

अर्श पे जोगी,फर्श पे जोगन,

जोगी कैसे दर्शन पाए?

आसमान की दीवारों से,

झाँक रहा था,चाँद उचककर।

एक निकम्मा चाँद आवारा,

और अकेली तू थी छत पर।

भीगे बदन,शबनम से नहाए,

पेड़ों से जा लिपटी हवाएँ।

कंगन ने पकड़ी थी कलाई,

माथे की बिंदिया,राम दुहाई।

नैनों की मदिरा, छलकी फलक पर,

चाँद गिरा नैनों में फिसल कर।

एक निकम्मा चाँद आवारा,

और अकेली तू थी छत पर।

आँखें वो तेरी जादू-मंतर,

कितने थे मासूम वो नश्तर!

तिरछे नयन से चाँद था घायल,

चाँद अकेला,सात समंदर।

चाँद को पानी-पानी करते,

तेरी हँसी के मोती झरझर।

एक निकम्मा चाँद आवारा,

और अकेली तू थी छत पर।

रूपनगर की मलिका,जोगन,

जोगी, एक मुसाफिर बेघर।

ढूँढ़ रहा था जोगी,रहबर,

जोगन की आँखों में भटककर।

खनक उठी थी चूड़ी,हँसकर,

“ हाय दइया! तू ,कुछ तो शरम कर”।

एक निकम्मा चाँद आवारा,

और अकेली तू थी छत पर।

दीन-धरम भारी थे भरम पर,

शहर था शर्मिंदा,वो,शरम पर।

ना उसको मंजूर ये मंज़र,

शहर में उग आए थे खंजर।

दर्द से बोझिल,जख्मी हवाएँ,

और जमीं थी कितनी बंजर!

तेरी आह में कतरा-कतरा,

चाँद गिरा था आँसू बनकर।

अब न निकम्मा चाँद आवारा,

और न तू दिखती है छत पर।

शोर शहर का चारों पहर,

हंगामा है रात औ’ सहर।

धरती,अंबर भीड़ में गुम हैं,

पाज़ेब की छम-छम ,पर गुमसुम है।

कौन रहा इस भीड़ से बचकर,

कितनी अकेली है वो छत,पर।।
