The Garden

There are ponds reflecting a yonder grove,

filled with foliage in a forest of mangrove.

Water drops of rain flowed as pearls,

the drops flowed as the rising wind unfurls.

Beads of sweat come from opening the soil,

the roots where the able hands toil.

The smooth petals touch which are silky

and the bloom of roses that are milky.

The effervescence of the earth,

is palatable as the dawn touches the dearth.

The fragrance from lotus pond,

as the pink buds open to bond.

Not to drown with the leaf,

as the support for self- sustained life which is brief.

Ripples in the stream when there is outbreak of dawn,

as the fertility touches the lawn.

There are no weeds or machines that are massive,

Or attacks to environment which may seem passive.

No missiles or humans that are misled,

only grounded feet which are solid.

A garden of inner peace,

where future generations have no fees.
