Yarn of Eternity

Some put their faith in a path,

regardless of where it may lead.

Some chart their destination

regardless of the road or deed.

Some journey to the end, to find

what they missed at the start.

Some ask for very little before

saying yes with their heart.

Some are always looking back,

tracing their journey by scars.

Some peer into the future

and put their hope in the stars.

Some would rather not venture

into the dark corners that ache.

Some carve out their souls

by being humbled with mistakes.

Some hone their pride on the

edge of unyielding certainty.

Some kneel before the unknown

and its sublime mystery.

Some seek perfection before

taking even a single step,

and some weave their destiny,

gently, from life’s gentle web.
