Me?

Original Submission by Aaisha Rilwan

Me?

Yah! she is the girl who is always

Smiling at upfront

But breaking down the minute she is all alone from the inside

Everybody thinks that they know her

Yet she is an enigma entangled by her own reverie

Most of the time she is busy making everyone around her happy

Forgetting that she too deserves happiness and peace

Everyone around her had always been teaching her a lesson

But sometimes she is blinded to truth and

Ignored what’s good for her

Now that she is all grown up , she is no longer the same girl everyone ones knew

She has become the master of arcane

Turning herself to be an autophile

Who doesn’t care for what everyone thinks about her

She is learning to accept her for Who she is

She is learning that selflove is the only Love that can be genuine and true

Even if the world doubts her

She is planning to stand her ground

So that she can be the woman

She dreams to be and to that

“Good luck to me”
