Shattered love

We Walked the same path together

But now it seems like you took a detour

Where did we loose the grip?

The answer to which I will never know

Looking back I thought we were forever

But looking ahead it’s me being delusional

We shared the same past

But why do we remember it differently though

We once looked at the same full moon

But now I look at it all alone

How do I even move forward

When shattered memories and broken promises is all that’s left to hold on to

And I keep revisiting the old spot hoping to see you

Just to be disappointed by my expectations which cannot come true.

And I already tried to put the past behind me

But my scars tell a different story

And amidst all these storms , here I am still standing

With only“ hope” left to guide me.
