Who am I to?

Who am I to?
Who am I to tell a man how to live his life?
Who am I to tell a man who he should like?
Who am I to tell a man what to do and how to do it?
When my life isn’t perfect enough to throw a fit.
The bible says to take the plank out of my eye before taking the speck out of my brother’s,
So if the bible says that, who am I to judge when I’m not better than others?
When my life is like that of a sinner,
And his is close to that of a winner
How am I to tell a man what his version of success should look like?
When my success seems to be pedaling away on a bike.
If you look from a moral point of view, this is how it would be you see.
I’m standing in glass houses, stone in my hand,
Tracing my failures in shifting sand.
If my own house is tilted and the roof is caving in,
Where do I get the nerve to name another man’s sin?
The world wants a judge, it wants a gavel and a trial,
But I’d rather walk with a man for a lonely, dusty mile.
For the weight of the crown is a weight I can’t bear,
Not when I’m still gasping for a breath of honest air.
So I’ll lower my finger, and I’ll open up my palm,
Trade the noise of the critique for a quiet, inner calm.
Because a man isn’t measured by the things I can see,
And the only soul I’m tasked to save is the one inside of me.
So I ask this question once again,
Because I want to know how far I should bend,
Who am I to judge a man’s life and not lend?
