Voices

I’d like to be free,

I’d like to be me.

“Free? we want to be free too.”

said the voices.

“Pick me! Pick me!

I want to be free!”

said voice three.

“Count me in too!

One, what about you?”

said voice two.

“I’ve tried but never won,

so, I think I’m done.”

said voice one.

Four

and more

were already storming the door.

No no no, you guys stay inside,

you still have to hide,

but I,

I’m free enough to try,

to live before I die.
