Too Blessed to Be Stressed, Too Anointed to Be Disappointed By: Shantell Ross

I may walk through valleys,

I may face another storm,

But I know my God is with me,

And His presence keeps me warm.

I’ve cried some tears in secret,

I’ve faced battles no one knew,

But every time I thought I’d fall,

God said, “I’m carrying you.”

I’m too blessed to be stressed,

For the Lord has brought me through.

I’m too anointed to be disappointed,

Because His promises are true.

What the enemy meant for evil,

God can turn around for good.

He can open doors before me

That no man ever could.

So I won’t worry about tomorrow,

I’ll give God praise today.

I’ll trust Him with my future

And let Him lead the way.

For I am covered by His mercy,

Strengthened by His grace.

No matter what comes against me,

I know God will make a way.

So let the storms keep raging,

Let the mountains rise before me.

I will lift my hands and praise Him,

For my God has gone before me.

Too blessed to be stressed. Too anointed to be disappointed. Too covered to be defeated. Too favored to be forgotten.

And as long as I have breath,

I will give my God the praise,

For He has been my strength,

And He has kept me all my days.

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped.” — Psalm 28:7 KJV
