Thoughts of a Modern Thinker Born in the Olden Times

The future has so much in store,
What lies beyond that open door?
A time when people aren’t needy
And countries face equality.
What is the possibility?
That lies beyond the open door.
Technology will be refined,
The arts might start novel designs;
‘Tis an era of thoughts combined
That lies beyond the open door.

Yet there is some uncertainty
In the remote futurity;
But I shall think ideally
Of what’s beyond that open door.
