TEARS

Silent sobs are lost in violent cries,

my single grief is all unnoticed.

How do I explain this heart’s desire?

For good bye to my smile, I have already kissed.

Dreams are slaughtered,

wishes have been killed,

as far as one can see,

tears of blood are brutally spilled.

Moist eyes appeal for mercy,

trembling lips plead for help,

cold hands ask for support,

dry throat can only manage a painful yelp.

Staring through the dark, unblinking,

realizing the bitter taste of reality,

taking flight with crumpled wings,

still there’s no one to have pity.

Suppressed by loud fears,

these are the words of my

painful,

cold

and innocent tears.
