Roses are red

Violets are blue

Isn’t life great? No!

Your eyes shine like rivers

I’m scared that I’ll drown

Your smile is rare

But stunning when found

Life ain’t great because I know

You’ll never be mine

The way your mouth curls

Brings sunshine in my life

Your voice is like a lullaby

Calm heart, all is for you

But you’ll never be mine.
