Silence

Silence is not absence, but the altar

where the soul strips away every burden

and finds again the first, ancient breath.

When the clamor of the world is stilled,

the wounds of time become quiet

and thoughts turn toward home.

In this sacred solitude vanishes

every profane cry, every reflection

of the ancient shadow that consumes the day.

Beyond the mirror of human voices

there remains only a limpid infinity,

where the instant consecrates every memory.

The slow weights of the journey dissolve,

leaving the spirit to its own light.

To be silent is the gateway of returning to being.
