Without Banks

How many hours in the silence.

The enchantment laughs among the remains of a life,

while the song in the hands

becomes a caress and a roaring flood.

Now that wind is an impact:

naked cry, freedom without shores.

Every breath is a verse,

the infinite under the skin,

words-splinters carved into the flesh.

No longer islands, but open ports:

shores that remain, beyond the reflection.

Landings, naked waters,

unveiled dances and severed anchors.

The dust crumbles, destiny catches fire.

We are the instant that becomes a glow,

stray stars among the pathways of the world.

We are the eternity that dwells within us.

And bites us.
