Love Me, Woman

Love me

even if the sun is extinguished

and the roses are gathered,

and every breath flees

beyond time,

love me, woman.

Love me in the cold of this night,

where the silence becomes flesh

and words lose their pace.

Love me like the last lighthouse

on a shoreless sea,

while the world consumes itself.

Take this smoke, this shiver.

Clasp my distant hands,

set another spring ablaze.

Love me like fire in the flesh,

a blaze to devour the night,

a blade to consume the fear.

You are lava pulsating in the veins,

while the earth trembles beneath the steps

and the sky surrenders to the darkness.

Bite this silence with your teeth,

leave the sign of your passage

upon my naked skin.

We are two stars colliding:

a tight knot of skin and breath

redesigning the universe.

Take me as the sea takes the shore.

Without asking permission.

Until we lose ourselves in the depths.
