ORION’S BELT

Sitting at the bar, cigarette in hand,

A soft piano melody, echoes through the room,

A woman gets up, her laugh so infectious,

Her eyes cobalt blue, piercing through me with her stare

That first look was all it took

While the wind is howling outside, never-ending, cycle like,

She hides her face against the wind and asks me to teach her to kiss

Caressing fingers bent, Lips quiver

Strewn on the living room carpet, our clothes

Tip it back, tip the velvet, ecstasy flips,

Cold tongues trail remains, Desire’s chocolate seams

Hiding in my living room while the wind is howling, never-ending, cycle like,

A woman gets up, clammy with sweat,

Her laugh so infectious, her eyes cobalt blue, and Orion's belt falls.
