MOTHER

There are two very special words in the world—

Mom and love;

And they go hand in hand.

Mom, you are a very special person to me

In so many ways.

I love you for being so dear to me

And all my troubles.

You seem to know all the right things

To say to me when I'm done

And you know exactly what to do

To help me out of my worries.

You've been there for me through times

Both rough and smooth.

I may have fought,

Argued, or even forgotten you,

But dear mother

You have never done the above to me.

I'm sorry if I was a disappointment in your life

And I'm not even going to ask you to forgive me,

Because being that forgiving person that you are

I'm already forgiven,

And blessed to have you,

Someone so special;

That it makes me so proud to call you mother.

Thank you for all your support

And love throughout the years.
