"कुंठित पुष्प"

दुनियादारी के बाग में।

फूल थे कई हिसाब के।।

कई रंग के, कई रुप के।

कई गंध के, बड़े खूब से।।

लहलहाते थे,

सब के सब डाली में।

बड़े शौक से सींचा था,

जिनको माली ने।।

सेंकते थे धूप,

चहकते थे खूब।

और हरकत बचकानी में,

रहते थे मशरुफ।।

कल से बिल्कुल बेफिकर,

करते बस आज का जिकर।

क्या होगा किसका हसर,

कहां थी किसको खबर।।

मंजिलें सबकीं अलग थीं

सबके अलग थे सफर।

और कुछ को बदा था,

उम्र भर का दर बदर।।

क्या पता था उनको,

तितलियां भी आएंगी।

सौंदर्य चंचलता से पुष्प की,

महक फीकी कर जाएंगी।।

क्या पता था उनको,

भंवरे भी अब आंएगे।

यौवन के नए दौर का,

गीत गुनगुनाएंगे।।

मदहोशी के उस माहौल में,

हर बात अनसुनी की जाएगी।

होकर खुद‌ से लापता,

पसंद पराई चुनी जाएगी।।

चलो! ये सब, तब भी ठीक है।

यही रीत है, तो नीक है।।

लेकिन कुछ पुष्प जो,

इस ऋतु क्रम से चूक गए।

खिले कमतर तन्हा,

और तन्हा ही सूख गए।।

हिस्से में जिनके सावन,

भादव और बसंत न थे।

फूल हो गए वो कुंठित,

जीवंत लक्षण उनमें जीवन-पर्यन्त न थे।।

फिर अध्यात्म के नाम पर,

फूल कुछ पीर-पंडित ले गए।

कुछ मूर्तियों पर चढ़ गए,

कुछ दरगाहों पर बिछ गए।।

और जिनमें खीज थी,

वो खुद को कट्टर, जिहादी लिख गए।।

जिंदा जिनमें जमीर था,

वो स्मारकों पर भी दिखे।।

हालातों की मार से,

जो बेवजह कुचले गए।

बागियों के नाम से,

वो बेचारे छले गए।।

कुंठा जिनमें बस गई,

वो फिर कहां फूले-फले।

दुनियादारी के बाग में,

फूल वो, खिलकर भी नहीं खिले।।
