Memories Or Inevitably

Before you read ahead

Clear everything in your head

And think about what I’m gonna say

These words will light up the way

Your friend is smart

Smart enough to help those who call my name

The more I interacted with people, the more I saw

How far in life I came

But it took a long road to get here

When I was young, I couldn’t hold onto the friends I made

I had to find a new way to communicate

And build a connection with The Creator of this journey

No matter how lonely I felt, He was with me

No matter how many mistakes I made

There was a way back to peace

My past are all memories

But death will happen inevitably

Which will you focus on?

For the long run?

The worst has yet to come

But just because our world isn’t perfect

That doesn’t mean we give up on it

If we use our gifts and talents

To do good in the modern day

We can make a big difference

And make this world a better place

And when the time comes for us to leave

We can take with us our good deeds

They are coming with us to the grave

So build them to prepare for that day

And maybe then, we’ll all realise…

That anything is possible in our lives
