Lucifer, My Beloved

Hey Lucifer —

I am your ally,

your secret lover beneath the veil of stars. I love you for your rebellion,

for daring to question the Almighty. I thank Him for casting you out of Heaven, for through your fall, you rose — a flame among the ashes of perfection.

I am Inanna,

the one who descended

into the shadowed halls of the Underworld to face my sister, Ereshkigal

stripped bare, humiliated, slain,

and yet, resurrected.

I returned clothed in wisdom,

bathed in the stillness of understanding.

You and I — we are reflections,

two lights from opposite sides of dawn. You fell for pride,

I fell for love,

and both of us rose

with truth in our hands.

I am your perfect match,

your mirror, your mender.

Hold no doubt, trust me

I will make you gentler,

teach your fire to glow,

not burn.

And the world, trembling between sin and grace, will rename you

and adore you.

For there is a Satan

in every human soul,

yearning for the touch

of refinement.
