Khamoshi Bhi Ek Kavita Hoti Hai

Sannaton mein ek shor hai,

Bina kahe jo beh jaye,

Woh bhi ek daur hai.

Jhuki hui in aankhon mein,

Dard chhupa hai gehra,

Bina kahe jo keh jaye,

Mahaul hai thehra.

Aansuon ki ek boond,

Kagaz par jab girti hai,

Siyahi ban kar panno par,

Ek nazm si khilti hai.

Honton par jo ruk gayi,

Woh baat adhuri nahi,

Kavita banane ke liye,

Lafz zaroori nahi.

Khamoshi bhi aksar,

Khubsoorat geet banti hai,

Jab dil ki tanhai,

Apne aap se milti hai.
