Just one more.

My breath leaves and enters my body slower,

I feel the environment around me get colder.

Could it be the consequences of getting older?

Now we no longer excited for tomorrow,

But dread it instead.

We have grown from loving the unknown,

To fearing it.

The sun rises and each day there is a voice pondering on what they are doing here.

Just one more day maybe things will get better.

Just one more day maybe my life will change overnight.

But how many Just one more’s is overnight?

Life has a tendency of placing one in between hard rock and the ocean, then letting the waves crush against you and that wall.

Question is will you mould into something stronger or will you disperse into that dust that once made you?
