Icy Wrath

Whispering winds wander the streets,

A hauntingly beautiful night, filled with dreams.

Pitter patter the rain,

As though by Zeus himself, the lightning strikes.

The wrath of Gods upon us tonight,

Their fury as cold as ice,

Their fury as cold as ice.

The lonely sky, bereft of stars,

A battlefield, a hollow chamber of scars.

O moon, the lone victim,

Pray tell, The tale,

How in the dead of night,

You fell prey.

All that endurance, all that pain,

Your final release,

The dawn break.
