Humanity

Why are you no longer yourself

where has your soul gone

humanity, faceless voice

Rain on the asphalt

we have become shadows

breath without a name

Naked, stripped flesh

emptiness in the eyes

immense solitude:

an unknown world

Under the fingernails

the dust still remains

of what we used to be

An unsaid secret

a shiver before the light.
