* Fairy-tale for the Damned

* * a fae serenades

* just beneath my window sill,

* against frosted glass,

* sings of kingdoms, seasons pass

* and of blood beneath the leaves

* leaving silence in the trees

* * and still I hear it on the road-

* on the hopeless road of which I travel,

* going home to home as a witch unraveled.

* this dumb battle's between man and warlock,

* with some rattles between damned and sure-not.

* planned for war as a woman or man.

* ramming the sword into children or fam.

* villages camped as blood drips more,

* living be damned as one kills four.
