You tear my heart,

and left a stark wound in pain.

Killing me in sorrow, filled with despair.

Tears roll down my face as I let out a wail.

Why did you leave? when you promised to stay.

Afraid, this time will come, yet it has already arrived.

This caught me off guard, quivering my pale lips agape.

And how I wish our bygone moments to return.

Sweet and blissful memories we used to share

Your warmth, your touch, which hugs my soul

All these fade off, making my smiles wry

Tell me to hush, that’s what I plea

For my heart will soon heal..

No grudge, our past unreels

Coz now, we’re free

and you can go
