Ek Darakht

A tree was a little overgrown,

But it was very, very thick.

Fruits - flowers did not come on it now,

But he used to give shade to everyone as if he were someone of his own.

The scent was all around him, a wrath,

There was a river of calm, spread in the winds of this environment.

My lonely companion was that tree, that world,

I slept under it like a mother.

There was no tree in this world beyond the whole world.

There was something special about it, it seemed like heaven.
