ADDICTION

Just as two naked bodies

Dancing in the moonlight

One moves in for an embrace

While the other tries to flee

Trapped in reality

Yet free in ecstasy

My eyes trace your movement

As you gather all your might

And strike my very core

I wince to show my approval

I cower, to pledge my undying love

I spew hatred at you

Yet I crave your venom

For it nourishes my wounds

I curse at you

And wish your death

Then again, your death means my death

Just as two naked bodies
