My Hidden Refuge

MY HIDDEN REFUGE

I find solace in silence and darkness for in silence

The oblivious become obvious

And in darkness everything becomes clearer The silence I once craved and yearned for Has begrudgingly turned its back on me. Once my solitude and now my torturer Slowly chipping away my soul

Leaving just fragments of it

I run and stumble on rocks

As my silence threatens

And eventually marauds me

Thus, I found myself in the bosom Of loud chatter

Hoping to drench out the dire state Of poignancy I find myself

Is this all a devious ploy

Orchestrated by my heart

I am drowning in dread

My emotions are fluke and in constant Fluctuation: Indeed, I am paradoxical
