IT WAS YOU

Did you whisper into my ear?

Or move my feet?

Did you place your hand inside my soul?

And gouge out the pain?

Cause it is no more

Did you collect all my tears?

Drop by drop,

Leaving none behind?

I feel you deep within me

Yet I am full of questions

You give me answers to my questions

But then I doubt them Why?

Look at me

Sinful as I am

You say you love me

I know you do

But do I love me?

I do,

But then I don't

My emotions are being tossed about,

By the wind and something else Did

you whisper into my ear?

For my heart perceived you, then.
