MY FIERY DELIGHT

Within me,

Are mountains and oceans,

Caves and Waterfalls

It is everything

And it is nothing

You may have sprinkled,

Just a bit too much inside of me

Now my whole being

Shrieks in pain at the horrors all around And beams with joy at the beauty all around All at once

But it is comforting to know

That you feel it too

You felt it first

If only I could share

That which is burning inside of me Would it cause chaos?

Or unboundless insanity?

Perhaps it would restore peace

Then again, perhaps.

You gave me this for a reason

You alone know that reason

Even still, I will forever sing your praise for within me, Are mountains and oceans, Caves and Waterfalls.
