A NIGHT WITH THE MOON

The Sun goes down, the Sky turns blue,

The Stars come out and sparkle too.

I look up and see the gentle glow,

Of the brightest thing the night can show.

The moon shines softly, big and bright,

Spreading it’s silver, peaceful light,

Above the mountains, houses and trees.

Painting magic through the breeze.

The moon hangs high above the world,

Looking round and bright in the dark sky.

Little clouds float here and there,

As a cool breeze whispers through the air.

I sit by the window and watch the sky,

Thinking of all the places the moon can see.

The stars and moon make quite a sight,

Filling my heart with joy tonight.
