पल में ख़ुशी ज़रा ज़रा चिरके आती है...
कल में दुख टिप टिप बुंदो की तरह बरसता है...
ये खामोशी अँधेरे कोने में जब सुलगती है...
तब आधी अधूरी दास्तां को एक नया मोड़ मिल जाता है मैं पूछता हूं...
ये जिंदगी, वो जिंदगी क्या है जिंदगी...
ये जिंदगी, वो जिंदगी क्या है जिंदगी...
कोई चुप सा लम्हा है या चिलमिलाता मरहम है...
कोई कोरा हिसा है या खुबसूरत किस्सा है...

ये धग धग ती आग सीने में जलती है...
तब एक नई क्रांति का आगाज होता है मैं पूछता हूं...

कोई अधूरा रहगुज़र है या सपनों में बस वाबस्तगी है...
कोई खामोश सुबह है या रातो में तारो का उपवन है...
