माँ अब बूढ़ी हो गई है
माँ अब बूढ़ी हो गई है, सूनी आँखों से तकती है।
कहने को होंठ हिलाती है, पर उन अस्फुट शब्दों को खुद खा जाती है।
याद है मुझे गर्व से भरा माँ का वो शालीन चेहरा,
जब आँख के एक इशारे से कायनात मुट्ठी में किया करती थी।
बिन कहे बच्चों के चेहरे पढ़ लिया करती थी,
बिन बोले एक रोटी और दे दिया करती थी।
पापा से पैसे बचा-बचा कर रखा करती थी,
सीधी-सादगी से भरी यही माँ,
वक्त आने पर घर-भर के लिए ढ़ाल बन जाया करती थी।
घर की धुरी बनी माँ के इर्द-गिर्द हम बच्चों की दुनिया घूमा करती थी।
जादू की छड़ी थी माँ, किसी भी परिस्थिति को,
कितनी खूबसूरती से संभाला करती थी।
रोते बिलखते चेहरों पर न जाने कैसे हँसी ला दिया करती थी,
आज वही मेरी ‘सुपर वुमन’ माँ,
बिस्तर पर लेटी न जाने क्या देखा करती है।
शायद कुछ अनबुने सपनों को फिर से बुनने का हौसला रखती है।
आज भी अपना प्यार अपनी दुवाओं में दिखाती है,
पर कभी-कभी आँखों के कोर से दो बूँद टपका दिया करती है।
