“गेंद”
धीमी आँच पर जैसे उँगलियाँ उबल रही हों!
एकटक आँखें भी ज़रा-सी सरकी हुई लगती हों!
और पड़ोस का एक बच्चा हो....
शोर करके भागता हो!
बार-बार गेंद माँगने आता हो!
कुत्ता, जो अब ज़िंदा नहीं,
उसकी आख़िरी तस्वीर दीवार पर धूल में सजी हो!
पिंजरे में चूहे बड़ी आसानी से पकड़ में आ जाते हों!
और पड़ोस का एक बच्चा हो....
शोर करके भागता हो!
बार-बार गेंद माँगने आता हो!
