Weeping Alone

Driving along the midnight moon,

Hoping to be free as the clouds that follow.

In the end of May I am out searching,

By June I was still lost.

The months kept growing longer,

My feelings buried deep as one would be to rot.

Taunting me as I go, wondering if I did something wrong.

Is it bad to be distant from you as I am burdened by guilt.

I’m weeping alone and waiting,

For that death you wished upon to take me instead.

My reason is that I never want to be remembered as the one who begged,

The one you weep is not in my debt to be borrowed.
