किरण

रचनाकार- अनीता बहुगुणा

पिता सूर्य, रोशनी माता से किरण उपज आई,

बहन उषा उसे लिए गोद में फूली न समाई।

ज्यों-ज्यों पिता नभ पटल पर छूने लगे ऊँचाई,

त्यों-त्यों किरण पर भी छाने लगी तरुणाई ।

उषा और किरण दोनों ही खुशी से झूमीं और इतराईं।

माँ रोशनी ने कहा अब तुम भ्रमण पर जा सकती हो,

छूकर धरा का कोना-कोना संध्या को वापस घर आ सकती हो।

हाँ! होने देना न अंधकार वरना खो जाओगी गहन रात में,

तम में अस्तित्व अपना बचाकर हम तक कैसे आ पाओगी?

हममें कैसे फिर मिल पाओगी? अविरल धारा हो किन्तु नाज़ुक हो,

नज़रों से दूर माता-पिता की होकर, रहे भान सदा इसका तुम को।

सब कुछ सुनकर, मानो गुनकर उषा और किरण धरती पर आईं।

खेत-खलिहान, घर-घर के भीतर, कोने-कोने में, खुले बागानों में,

पर्वत, नदिया और सूखे मैदानों में कीर्ति माँ रोशनी की फैलाई।

किरण में चंचलता, तरुणाई और उषा में गहराई थी,

जाने कब और कैसे दोनों के नाज़ुक पर कंधों पर

भार बड़ा धरती को ऊष्मा से सींचने का आ पड़ा।

पदचाप तो उसी के थे पलट कर जब उषा ने देखा,

न दिखती थी किरण, पदचिह्नों की थी बस एक रेखा।

मुख पर चिंता इस बात से छलक आई थी।

आकाश कहाँ और कहाँ धरती का यह कोना,

माता-पिता और घर से कितनी दूर, कब निकल वो आईं?

व्यथित उषा लौट चली घर, जब किरण को खोज न पाई।

किरण छोड़ उषा का दामन, सागर की चंचल लहरों से खेल रही थी,

पिता जो पूर्व में प्रातः था, दिन में नभ के मध्य में खड़ा

देखते-देखते ही पश्चिम में क्षितिज से कब विलुप्त हुआ?

बाहों में झुलाने वाली बहन उषा भी अब नजर न आती थी,

घबराई-सी किरण पड़ी मंदिम, हाथ बहन का छोड़ क्या चतुराई की?

मार्ग दिखाता था दिनभर प्रकाश बनकर उनका बड़ा भाई,

बिछड़ गई है उन सबसे बात यह अब समझ में उसके आई।

जन-जीवन संबल उनका ले रहा था, तब याद आया,

जिम्मेदारी होगी भारी माँ ने पहले ही था समझाया।

थक गई थी दिनभर, किरण जो सूर्य से उपज आई थी,

बहन उषा के साथ मिलकर धरती पर सक्रियता ले आई थी।

किरण मंद ज्यों ही पड़ी, बात माता की दोहराई,

हुआ अंधकार तो दोनों गहन तम में खो जाओगी,

पिता सूर्य और माता रोशनी का सामीप्य न पाओगी।

लौट चली किरण भी होते ही संध्या, पहुँची पितृ-गृह,

देखा, प्यारी बड़ी बहन उषा कब की विदा हो चुकी थी!

प्रकाश श्वेत से श्याम हुआ, नव वधु निशा घर में चली आई थी,

एक गहरा नि:श्वास.. फिर माता-पिता को देख मुस्काई थी।

जिन की कोख में पाया था जन्म, जिन्होंने वो उपजाई थी,

सोने मीठी नींद, नन्हीं-सी किरण यों उन्हीं में फिर समाई थी।
