Bubble

I live in a bubble.

Anything I wish for appears,

but yet I crave the air outside.

It feels like I have everything,

yet nothing.

They say all I need is in there,

then why do I crave the warmth of the sun?

It’s toxic out there,

but how do I tell them

it’s cold and suffocating now?

How is it to have everything,

and yet nothing?

The bubble is getting smaller,

my wings bigger.

Staying in the bubble means never letting them stretch,

only asking for suffocation.

I live in a bubble with everything

I can ever ask for,

yet it’s empty.

And all I wish for

is the warmth of the sun.
