Poetry is where I found my home.

Poetry is where my emotions

found a place to be loud.

In a world were

I could recognize myself,

my soul found peace in words.

I found people with depth.

Losing oneself is easy,

but finding art

That is you is hard.

Maybe it's not easy to understand

or explain yourself,

but poetry is where I finally met me.
