आख़िरी Seen
“कुछ संदेश कभी पुराने नहीं होते…”
हर रात सोने से पहले वह अपना फ़ोन खोलती थी।
WhatsApp पर सबसे ऊपर हमेशा एक ही चैट होती- “माँ ❤️”
माँ को गुज़रे दो साल हो चुके थे।
फिर भी, हर रात ठीक 10:30 बजे उसके फ़ोन पर एक मैसेज आता-
माँ ❤️ | खाना खा लिया?
वह | हाँ माँ… खा लिया।
लेकिन सामने से कभी कोई जवाब नहीं आता।
एक रात उसने तय किया कि अब यह चैट डिलीट कर देगी।
चैट खोलते ही उसे कुछ पुराने scheduled messages दिखाई दिए।
माँ ने जाने से पहले कई महीनों के लिए संदेश लिखकर रखे थे-
“आज काम ज़्यादा मत करना…”
“अपना ख़याल रखना…”
“उदास हो तो मुझे याद कर लेना…”
आख़िरी scheduled message देखकर उसकी आँखें भर आईं-
“जब मैं नहीं रहूँगी, तब भी तुम्हें अकेला महसूस नहीं होने दूँगी।”
वह फ़ोन को सीने से लगाकर रोने लगी।
तभी स्क्रीन पर अचानक लिखा आया-
Mom is typing…
उसकी साँसें थम गईं।
कुछ सेकंड तक वे तीन छोटे-से dots दिखाई देते रहे…
“अब सच में खाना खा लेना।”
