You Lie

By Glory-be

You lay in a bed of lies

Rolling in lies that you sowed

Slept on so many things that ain’t true

Every third sentence you express is laced with untruths

You lie and you lie

Is that all you can do

You say, all you say is the truth

But that too is a lie in itself

Is it your super power

Or am I just not worth your truth

Is lying all you can do for me

Is it my fault or yours

What about me makes you lie to me

Am I too blind to see the truth

Too naive to notice the unknowns and untruths

Or am I just too eager to believe you

To eager to trust that you saying what’s true

To believe that you could be more than your lies

Even your truths are laced with untruths
