Maneuvering One’s Dream through Velocity, Speed and Direction

Bill Gates, Nelson Mandela, Bruno Mars, Henry Sy, Manny Pacquiao, they are some of those famous and most successful personalities that one could ever know from different fields, separate matters and distinctive aspects of life. Everyone look up to them as great developer, good leader, versatile artist, top businessman, and record-breaking athlete whom are just an ordinary individual before but now turns to be an extraordinary one due to their inspiring story on how they strive for achievement. Yes, they’ve gone so far, keeping track on where they lead. The dreams and aspiration that has been set are possibly done making things come true in fulfillment.

Hearing this ambition real, going into your way, sounds idealistic right? Perhaps, It seems easy to visualize on what you want to be and what goals you want to reach yet it’s hard to take action, bring movement in order to ponder such accomplishment that everybody yearns for. As we are the one who drive ourselves to meet the peak of a triumph victory, it is important for us to know the significant predictors of success, likewise the things to consider for it to happen.

First of all, feel free to map out your way of destination. In particular, there must be a concrete road to take journey. Every dream has a certain path behind, with directions to follow in order not to lose track. Decision should be fixed and no vague on where to go. For instance, an effective strategy on setting objectives is that to stand on your desired outcome, you must start on the finish line and inversely look back to the starting point to get specific details of each steps that you will pass through. In other words, the extent of a bright future comes with a humble beginning, it is hierarchical rather sequential. Meaning, to value and prioritize goals properly and wisely.

However, humps or rough roads is inevitable to occur in your smooth trance. It isn’t always unicorn and rainbows all the way but there is storm and avalanche too. In this case, fog may blur your minds pulling you down to give up. Pity, fear, doubt, and barriers may destroy your high aims. This may cause you to stop and be trapped into a crowded discouragement, confused to continue or stranded to stay. Failure will always be part and without it lessons wouldn’t be learn, experience wouldn’t be thrilling. Conflicts are naturally worthy to come for us to improve more and more till we face the best of best within our self. Quoted by Jack Ma, “Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine.”

In addition, wipers are purposefully attached to a windshield. It makes path visible and clear back again. Pertaining to those who lend their hands and join the ride, these people like our family, friends, and everyone that is part of our life stays beside us to give motivation, they have our backs during our worst times to cheer us up and support us. Also, it is happier to reach success together with our loved ones as well as share with them our great achievements. A person will persevere more if there is someone whom he/she will dedicate nor offer his/her piece of hard work.

Moreover, strength is needed for work, it is likened to an engine that is filled by gas in order to run. Emphasized by Angela Duckworth (2016), one of the significant predictor of success is grit, the stamina for a long run, the said determination not just for a week, month but years. Other than that index for a prosperous career sticks with skills, talent, interest, and passion. This makes us love what we do, enjoy the chase of our dream and happy of everything we get.

Being too slow may left us behind from opportunities and open doors, being too fast may bring impulse of wrong action. Paths aren’t straight either not always a turn. With rightful time for everything, success for you is near because we are the one’s who maneuver our dreams through velocity, speed and direction.
