Volatile

Who am I when I no longer need to express myself as a means to breathe

Are my calloused fingers meant for more than just bleeding out syllables

Is there more to living than just surviving

I have been blinded because I can't afford my tears to cleanse my eyes

I put on a mask I didn't know I was wearing when I express myself

I felt free when I donned my true face

The masses see puzzle pieces scattered

My heart is volatile

I study philosophy as a chemistry for it

I remember my passions fleeing like the wind

I mistaken them as vanity

I laden myself with harsh treatment

I thought I had to earn love

How can a man be at peace when he grew up with struggle

The only permanent peace he knew is the relief of death

How can a man find a place he belong

When he's secluded from his village

How can a man learn to love himself

When he sees a mess in the mirror
