Untold Promises

Original Submission by Dhia Aliya

Untold promises

As beautiful as the stars you shine

Just like the diamond you wear not of mine

The moon is beautiful, isn’t it, my love?

One last whisper for the wind to you, his dove

Golden the sun sets, a gentle warmful farewell

On the hills I stand, hearing tolls of the wedding bell

Away with the breeze the seeds of dandelion high

As I leave our story behind with one final goodbye
