Turmoil

I have no soul left to scar.

No spirit left to defy.

The flesh is only but useless in its eventual flee.

Now comes the time of the heart and mind

A heart of no fortitude and no strongholdings

With the mind of deceit and ill-mannered manipulation fleeing.

Yet a longing from both deep within

Resonate and innate

Seeking connection and happiness,

Pitifully, for one has not found
