Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Pulled the trigger - the gun jammed,

Suddenly, I’m holding my mother’s hand.

Nameless, known only by God,

Sent to the East to pillage and maraud.

A tool without a face for those who monger,

Wondering if I can take it any longer.

Unknown, untamed -

On the stone, I remain unnamed.
