THE INSTRUMENT OF ME

These eyes of mine were made to see and admire your beauty, to stare at you as you lie softly next to me,

reading your inner soul as you invite me into your world. My nose was shaped to catch your scent-

the sweetest, most intricate notes embedded in your perfume, heavenly, with a spark of mischief that sends shivers down my spine. My ears were tuned to capture your thoughts,

carried by a voice so soft, yet wonderfully peculiar,

sounding like a melody I have spent lifetimes longing to hear. My mouth was meant to whisper sweet nothings against your skin as you smile and laugh at the warmth of my intentions, tasting the sweetness of your lips, leaving a trail of quiet fire across every inch of your frame.

My arms were built to hold you tightly in moments of need, offering a shelter in the darkest hours as an assurance that all is well. My hands were crafted to stroke your hair,

drying every stray tear away from your eyes,

touching your face to feel the warmth of your skin

as we dissolve into hours of unhurried pleasure.

My heart was designed to beat faster for you and you alone, manifesting my undivided and undying devotion.

Every piece of my body, mentioned and kept quiet,

is an instrument forged specifically for your touch-

each playing its part to turn abstract emotion into fruit,

translating my words into dynamic action.

To my eyes, you are a sight to behold.

To my nose, you are a heavenly breath.

To my ears, you are the sweetest of melodies.

To my mouth, you are the finest taste.

To my arms, you are a sanctuary to protect.

To my hands, you are my most valuable treasure. But most importantly-to my heart, you are the love of my life.
